I once had a customer who was gouging their customers because they were the major provider of heating oil in the area. 

I warned them to be careful because one of the bigger players would one day figure out that there's an attractive market and move-in.

They were convinced that this would never happen.

Guess what? It did happen, and they started losing customers left right and center.

I gave them a playbook and marketing strategy on what to do when big oil comes to town. My customer started winning customers back and eventually defeated big oil’s temporary advantage. 

With reliable insights into their business our customer was able to share these insights with their customers creating trust. 

That's just one example of how neglecting to build strong, automated business processes can sneak up on you, even if you seem to have the upper hand. Often it's as simple as going back to basics and looking at the efficiency report in Datanova’s software and coaching customers on what to do based on this report. 

Within three months of coaching (and clients ideally listening), I usually see clients go from 10% efficiency to about 50-60% efficiency. And in this business, that is printing money.
