Never stop asking yourself tough questions.

Every 6 months, I spend a day or two #coaching and challenging my clients asking them:
Why are you in business?
Why are customers calling you?
What are you trying to achieve?
What makes you special?
If you stop innovating and asking yourself these questions, you’re already fighting a losing battle. To stay on top, you need to keep on top of asking yourself these kinds of questions.
These are also questions I like to get into with new clients on demos, even before we talk about automating processes. Why? When we know what gives you your edge (ie. profit per load, control of costs, cash in inventory), we can translate ALL OF YOUR LOGISTICS COSTS into the system and automate it.
Logistics and overhead costs are the cost of playing, and if you let these get out of control, you’ve lost the game before stepping out onto the ice.
Each of your customers sells a FINITE amount of fuel, margin can only get you so far.
Never stop questioning. Never stop innovating. That’s how you stay on top of your game.
