Two pieces of #technology that I’m finding interesting these days:

1. Technology that increases transparency and trust between the consumer and the chief petroleum marketer. I think blockchain technology will play an important role in the evolution of this kind of technology by enabling petroleum marketers and consumers to all share information simultaneously because they are looking at the same ledger.

2. Synthetic fuels and biofuels. There are a lot of interesting efforts being made to deploy energy that is useful and more environmentally friendly. For instance, soybean oil is now being used to develop environmentally friendly jet biofuel:
